Rock out in MHC at the Rockin River Fest

Consider this your official save the date announcement! You don’t want to miss this fun-filled weekend in Martinsville – Henry County; August 19th & 20th! The Rockin' River Fest kicks off with the TGIF concert in Uptown Martinsville on Friday evening, followed by the Smith River Fest in Axton on Saturday, then followed by the Uptown Music Fest  Saturday evening in Uptown Martinsville! If you’re a music and outdoor recreation lover, then this might be the highlight of your summer!

Advance tickets for the Rockin’ River Fest will be sold for $30 which includes: admission to the TGIF concert, admission to the Uptown Music Fest, a Rockin’ River Fest t-shirt, a sillipint cup, and a free pour at all three events (TGIF, SRF, & UMF). Stay tuned for more details on ticket sales and availability!

Smith River Fest activities and entertainment include: Paddling Demo Pool, River Tubing, Joseph Young Magic Show, Smith River Boat Race, Helgramite Hustle Mud Run, Kids Zone, live music by Andy & Jake, the Blue Ridge Duck Race, and more! Admission to the festival is free, but there is a fee for the Boat Race and Mud Run. 

Uptown Music Fest presented by the Matthew Wayne Wade Foundation | Saturday August 20th | 7PM – 11 PM

Uptown Music Fest will feature music by The Magnificents Band, Martin and Kelly, and George Hodges.
