SOVAH HEALTH SPRING RUN CHALLENGE

LOOKING FOR A CHALLENGING HALF MARATHON OVER THE ROLLING HILLS OF SOUTHERN VIRGINIA? HOW ABOUT A FAST SPRING 5K? The 2024 SOVAH HEALTH SPRING RUN CHALLENGE is just the ticket! Includes choice! MHC HALF MARATHON or YOUTH in MOTION 5K on Saturday, April 27 @ 8 AM. 
 

CONSIDERING RACING YOUR FIRST HALF MARATHON? 
The half is a significant challenge which requires serious preparation and is a great first step towards the epic marathon distance. We are searching for one female and one male living now or previously in Martinsville or Henry County who want to give it a try. A kind Miles in Martinsville supporter is providing a FREE REGISTRATION for a guy and gal of our choice.

For your chance to win a free registration, all you have to do is submit an email to braverunner67@gmail.com by midnight, March 15.  In 300 words or less, tell why you should be chosen.

• Include your name.
• Briefly describe your running experience.
• State that this would be your first half.
• Verify that you live or have lived in Martinsville-Henry County.
• Tell us what moved you to want to give the half marathon a try.
• Confirm that you have a training plan to prepare you for your big challenge.

MILES in MARTINSVILLE officiials will review the submissions and notify the "winners" by March 20.
