I scream, you scream... well, you know the rest. What is better on a summer day than refreshing, homemade ice cream? Come to the Martinsville-Henry County Visitor Center on Sunday, August 17th to try a free sample of Dippers Homemade Ice Cream.

As the featured local business for this week's Sample Sunday, Dippers will be providing guests to the Visitor Center with product samples. Business owners and employees will be on hand to answer any questions you have about their products. While at the Visitor Center, be sure to check out the new Martinsville-Henry County Activity Guide, informative displays about the area, and merchandise.

The event will take place from 1 pm - 5 pm. The state-certified Martinsville-Henry County Visitor Center is located at 191 Fayette Street in Martinsville. Free parking is available in the Moss Street lot, across from the Uptown Farmers' Market.

Also, come experience The Fab Lab at the Visitor Center as part of the "See-It Saturday" series. Matthew Wade, Fab Lab Coordinator, will be presenting some of the fascinating technology that students and residents can take advantage of at the Fab Lab. If you have an idea, the Fab Lab can help turn it into reality! See for your yourself Saturday, August 16th from 1 pm - 4 pm at the Martinsville-Henry County Visitor.
