Bingo & Silent Auction to Benefit Girl Scouts

Rachel Catoe, Independent Senior Executive Director at Thirty-One Gifts, will sponsor a Thirty-One Bingo & Silent Auction on Friday, April 1, 2016, at Martinsville High School and donate all profits to Girl Scout Troop #616. The troop plans to visit Savannah, Georgia, the birthplace of Girl Scouts and its founder, Juliette Gordon Low, in June.

Doors will open at 5:30 P.M., and bingo games will begin at 6:30 P.M. Bingo includes 19 3-chance games and one grand prize. Adults play for $20. Youth 18 and under play for $10. Prior to the 20th game, participants will have a chance to purchase extra game cards for $1 each. The Grand Prize will be worth at least $100. All prizes are Thirty-One gift items.

Bids for the Silent Auction will be accepted beginning at 5:30 P.M. and will be closed at 9:00 P.M. You may attend the Silent Auction without playing Bingo. An album containing a photo and description of each item is available on Facebook including products from Martinsville Eyecare Center, Casting Logos, Martinsville Mustangs, and Hooker Furniture Company; gift certificates from Fenderz Drive-In, Kwik Lube, and Robbie Lynn’s Photography; autographed books from authors Dr. Melissa Bunin Rooney and Beth Macy; and tickets from Martinsville Speedway, Liberty University Athletics, Reynolds Homestead’s Bushels & Barrels Festival, Green Living Resale’s Spring Market, American Shakespeare Center’s Blackfriars Playhouse, Patrick Henry’s Red Hill, Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia, and Virginia Dare Cruises & Marina.

Concessions, a 50/50 raffle, corn hole, and a photo booth will be available.
