Dragon Festival is this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at VMNH!

If you visit the museum on Saturday, October 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., you will find yourself inside a Renaissance Fair atmosphere, where you will witness fire performers (actual performer pictured), medieval combat demonstrations, stilt walkers, blacksmith presentations and much more! You will even be able to interact with vikings and shop at the Ren Faire marketplace!  Did we mention the beer garden?  Of course, a variety of dragon displays, games, crafts and presentations will be available throughout the day, too!

Even New York Times best-selling author, Sharyn McCrumb, whose Appalachian "Ballad" novels have brought her national acclaim, will be on-hand for a book signing and presentations!
