Fairies, Music and More at Spencer Penn Centre

Music Night

Music Night at Spencer-Penn Centre is Friday, February 10. Doors open at 5pm. Open MIC is at 5:30, bring your instrument and join the group. At 6:20, The Courtney Rorrer Band will take the stage for some great bluegrass music. Jason Harris & Friends will be on at 7:35 with some great dancing music. It’s sure to be a great night of music and dancing. Dust off your dancing shoes, grab a friend and come hungry. Concessions will be available. A $4 donation is requested for admission. Self Defense 
Tuesday, Feb 21st, 6:30-8:30 pm

This is a hands on class with some lecture concerning safety practices; low intensity; close quarters self-defense techniques; dress comfortably. Instructor, Henry County Sheriff's Officer, John Cassell; class limit of 10 students; $15/members, $20/non-members.

CPR
March 14, 6-9 pm 

Spencer Penn Centre will offer a CPR Certification class taught by Lisa Gardner, RN, AHA Instructor through Henry County Public Safety. Cost is $25 for SPC Member & $30 for non-members. Must pre-register, Call 276-957-5757.

Make a Fairy House
Saturday, March 25, 9:00-11:30am

Patrick County Extension agent, Vicki Waskoski, will guide the class into making fairy houses. Each house will be unique because you can add the yards! All materials are provided. When all fairies are in their completed houses, the group is invited to go to the library where Lynn Dudley, author of THE FAIRY TEA PARTY, will read. She will also provide fairy wings and tu-tus if anyone wants to dress up. What fun! Must pre-register by March 17. Open to ages 8 and older or if a younger child is accompanied by an adult who can assist in the fairy house. $15/members & $20/non-members
