Fundraising opportunities exist for groups at Martinsville Speedway

If you’re part of an organization or group that has been thinking of ways to raise funds, Martinsville Speedway and its concessions partner Americrown are offering a unique opportunity.

Large crowds are expected to attend the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 and Maxpro Window Films 200 race events in May and the track is working with Americrown to utilize increased concession locations and opportunities to accommodate the fans.

This is an excellent opportunity for civic groups that can work together and be a part of a historic weekend and raise proceeds for projects and items.

“Due to the demand we’re seeing for tickets we expect to have a really nice crowd here all weekend in May,” said Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell. “We appreciate Americrown being proactive in their planning and this is giving area groups a nice opportunity to get involved in our big event weekend.”

Americrown Regional Director Mac Cozart adds this opportunity is open to any groups or organizations that are interested in working in concessions and customer service at the track in May.

“We’ll have several opportunities that can be the right fit for any size organization,” said Cozart. “It’s a win-win for the organizations who want to get involved. They can raise money for their cause and also help their community in helping make this a great weekend to showcase Martinsville Speedway.”
