Here Comes 2022!

Ring in 2022 with friends at one of our breweries, or start day one off with a tournament, walk, ride, or run. Check out some of the local New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day events happening in Martinsville – Henry County listed below!   

New Year’s Eve 

Mountain Valley Brewing is hosting a New Year’s Eve Party! The brewery will open from  8:00 PM -12:30AM with beer, wine, cider, and champagne. There will be a keg drop at midnight along with a champagne toast, appetizers, and party bling. DJ Wamp will be spinning some fun dance tunes all night long. Mountain Valley Brewing has also partnered with Charis Transportation to provide free rides to anyone in need between 10:30PM and 12:30 AM (within a 20 mile radius of the brewery).

Scuffle Hill Brewing Company is also hosting a New Year’s Eve Party! The Scuffle Hill party will feature Olivia Jo and her band performing live from 9:00PM - 11:00 PM. There will be a $10 cover charge starting at 8:00 PM that will include the champagne toast at midnight. The brewery will open at 2:00 PM and will be open to 12:30 AM.

Plus, there's Mountain Valley Artisan Barn's New Year's Eve Celebration starting at 7:30 PM. Enjoy a laid back evening in the barn with a buffet and a cash bar, plus am awesome DJ. $20 advance ticket or $25 at the door. 

New Year’s Day

The Henry County Bike Club is having their annual New Year’s Get Outside Ride, Run, or Walk beginning at 10:00 AM at Chain of Fools Bicycle Shop in Uptown Martinsville. Meet with friends, or come and make new ones, plan your ride, run, or walk, and start at 10:30. Everyone is encouraged to gather at Hugo’s for lunch afterward.
 
Top Shelf Billiards is hosting a 9 Ball Tournament on New Year’s Day to crown the best player of the year! Registration starts at noon and the tournament starts at 12:30. Call for more information.
