Where is your favorite place to shop?

"The Farmers' Market has a lot to offer that is fresh and local. I buy gifts for friends
such as honey and wine, as well as get fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and fish, as baked goods as well."

The Martinsville Uptown Farmers' Market is located on Church Street just down the street from the MHC Visitor Center. It is open Monday Evening 5 pm - 7 pm, Wednesday Morning 7 am - 11 am and Friday & Saturday Mornings 8 am - 11 am.

What is your favorite Martinsville-Henry County Festival?

"The Fieldale Heritage Festival is my favorite because of the strong community spirit. They come together to give folks a great day."

The Fieldale Heritage Festival which has been named one of the "Top 20 Events" in the Southeast buy the Southeast Tourism Society is just around the corner. Make plans to check out this fun event in May!

What is the best kept secret in Martinsville-Henry County?

"I enjoy the Dick & Willie Passage Rail Trail and the bicycle loan program on it. I love that you can walk or bike nine miles so close to work and home, yet you can also just relax on a bench to enjoy the natural scenery there."
