Music at Spencer-Penn Centre

Music Night at Spencer-Penn Centre is Friday, June 14.

Doors open at 5 pm. Open MIC is at 5:30 pm, bring your instrument and join the group. At 6:20 pm, Jason Harris & Friends will be on stage. At 7:40, The Country Boys will be on stage. Dust off your dancing shoes, grab a friend and come hungry. Concessions will be available. A $5 donation is requested for admission. Call the Centre for more information at 276-957-5757.

Pic: The Country Boys is a traditional bluegrass group from Patrick County, VA and Surry County, NC. The Country Boys originated more than 30 years ago with founding member and leader, Donald Clifton still in the band. In addition to Donald on guitar and vocals, Billy Hawks on Fiddle; Tim Bowman on banjo on vocals; Nick Goad on mandolin; Doug Joyce on bass; and Johnny Joyce on guitar and vocals.
