Piedmont Arts Welcomes New Staff Members

Piedmont Arts is happy to welcome Brian Stanley and Lea Henderson to its staff as Education Coordinator and Guest Services Coordinator, respectively. 

“We are excited to welcome Brian and Lea to the Piedmont Arts team,” said Executive Director Kathy Rogers. “Both bring a wealth of experience, ideas and energy to the museum.”

Stanley has joined Piedmont Arts as Education Coordinator. He is a graduate of Emory & Henry College with a triple major in Art, Psychology and Public Policy and Community Service. He is a site director/art instructor for MHC After 3 at Patrick Henry Community College and has worked as an adjunct graphic design instructor for PHCC, as well as an After School Associate for Washington County Recreation Department. He was a Bonner Scholar and received the Hugh and Sigrid Solomon Excellence in Service Award and Emory & Henry Travel Award.

Henderson, who has an extensive background in administration and events planning, has joined the museum as Guest Services Coordinator. She previously worked as facility administrator for Medfit Wellness in Charlottesville and was event coordinator for Chestnut Hill in Orange, Virginia. She is co-owner and booking manager for August Heat Audio, where she oversees planning and scheduling, as well as accounting and management of equipment purchases.
