Sample a Taste of MHC

Martinsville native Paul Hooper's delicious, homemade pasta sauces are well known in the local community as well as the surrounding region. Hooper developed his sauce making abilities from an Italian family that lived across the street from his childhood home. As seen in Southern Living Magazine, his sauces have gained in popularity and Mr. Hooper creates a variety of sauces including "Basil-licious," "Fra Diavolo," "Happy Hour Vodka Sauce" and many more.

He will have samples of his delicious pasta sauces and jars for sale this Sunday, October 5, from 1 pm – 5 pm at the Martinsville-Henry County Visitor Center in Uptown Martinsville.

At the event, participants can sample some of these fantastic sauces created by Hooper. According to Heather Hoffman, Visitor Services Coordinator, “We look forward to hosting local entrepreneur and agri-artisan, Paul Hooper.
